1968 Pro-Touring Camaro 

 

This ‘68 Camaro has been our rolling Pro-Touring test bed for the last couple years. Our very own Larry Woo has driven it at many Optima Ultimate Street Car, Goodguys and other competition events.  It’s been a magazine feature car along with pictures and mentions in a dozen more.  It’s one of the best developed first generation F bodies on the planet.

 

Under the hood is a Corvette C5R race block with a fully forged bottom end displacing 427 cubic inches. CNC ported C5 LS6 heads are pressurized by the intercooled Magnacharger on top while exhaust exits through custom headers into hand built exhaust pipes.  A T56 six speed transmission is in the tunnel while a Ford 9” rear with a cambered full floater conversion is out back.  StopTech Trophy brakes are on all four corners, and the current sets of wheels are custom pieces by Forgeline and a magnesium alloy set by Speedline.  Amazingly we can fit 315 wide front tires and 335 wide rear tires under the stock uncut fenders and quarter panels!  Anvil carbon fiber panels include the hood, decklid and rear spoiler.  If you’re drooling, give us a call.
